The Stanley London® Miniature Boxed Compass is a beautiful reproduction of a small antique
brass gimbaled compass in a brass-inlaid solid hardwood box.
The 2-inch (5.1 cm) diameter compass is fully gimbaled with a solid brass gimbal set.
The hardwood case is 3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm) square and 2 1/2 inches (6.4 cm) tall, and the compass weighs
10 ounces (284 grams).
The corners of the box are reinforced with lighter hardwood splines.
This handsome compass makes a beautiful addition to a nautical collection or executive's desk.
Custom brass plaques are available for the outside and/or the inside of the lid.
Note that the inlaid brass diamond cannot be engraved.
An inside plaque can hold up to 8 lines of text with approximately five words per line.

The Stanley London® Small Boxed Compass is a handsome reproduction of an antique
brass gimbaled compass in a beautiful brass-inlaid hardwood box.
The 2 3/4-inch (7 cm) diameter compass is fully gimbaled with a solid brass gimbal set.
The lid of the hardwood case is inset with beveled glass so the compass can be viewed with the lid closed,
making this a beautiful addition to a nautical collection or executive's desk.
The gimbaled compass is protected by a second glass cover.
The hardwood case is 4 5/8 inches (11.7 cm) square and 3 1/4 inches (8.9 cm) tall, and the compass weighs 1 3/4 pounds (800 grams).
This compass can be ordered with an inexpensive custom solid brass plaque

This handsome piano-finish quartz desk clock also features a magnetic compass in its base.
The clock-compass case is sculpted from a large 3 1/2 inch (8.6 cm) cube of seasoned solid mahogany, and is then expertly sanded,
stained, and finished with 12 coats of hand-rubbed lacquer finish for an unbelievably deep piano grade finish.
The clock and compass bezels, and the inset hinges are crafted from solid brass with a rich gold plating.
The clock features a highly accurate battery operated Japanese quartz movement (battery included), with a fully functional
magnetic compass is inset into the mahogany base.
The clock compass is 2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm) tall with the lid closed, 3 1/2 inches (8.6 cm) square, and weighs a solid
14.5 ounces (410 grams).
The clock bezel is 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm) in diameter and the compass bezel is 1 3/4 inches (5.5 cm) in diameter.

These Stanley London® 4-pipe brass spyglass telescopes are a modern hi-tech departure from our antique reproduction brass telescopes.
These small telescopes are almost as powerful as our largest floor-standing harbormaster telescopes.
Like all of our brass telescopes, these produce a sharp non-inverting (upright) image.
We offer two 25-power telescopes, as well as a 10 to 30 power zoom model.
Both have precision 30 mm objective lenses and all optics are the highest quality with full anti-reflection coatings.
They are solid brass and are available with a 100 percent hand-sewn leather sheath.
Unlike our other spyglass telescopes where you have to shorten the smallest pipe to focus,
these telescopes have a unique feature where you simply rotate the eyepiece to bring the
image into crystal clear focus.
The 10-30 zoom telescope has a second copper-colored ring to control the zoom.
Best of all, unlike our other polished brass telescopes, these have a special scratch
resistant clear coating that eliminates tarnish and fingerprints on the brass.
The 25 power telescopes are available with a polished brass outer tube or hand-sewn leather sheath.
The 10-30 zoom telescope is only stocked in the leather sheathed version.
The 25 power has slightly brighter and sharper optics, but the zoom model allows continuous adjustment of magnification from 10 power to 30 power.
All telescopes come with a leatherette zippered carrying case with both a hand strap and a belt loop, and lens cleaning cloth.
The telescopes are 1 3/8 (35 mm) inches in diameter, 13 1/2 inches (34.3 cm) long when fully extended and
5 3/8 inches (13.6 cm) long when collapsed.
The 25-power models weigh 7.5 ounces (213 grams) and the 10 to 30 power zoom model weighs 8.3 ounces (235 grams).
All telescopes are engraved "Stanley London" near the eyepiece.
The telescopes can be with up to two lines of text and a maximum of 4-5 words per line.
The 25-power all-brass telescope can be engraved on any brass tube and the leather-sheathed telescopes can be engraved on the largest brass pipe.
Due to the large width of the engravable area, we suggest engraving full names rather than monograms or initials.

This Stanley London® Gimbaled Desk Stand Compass is a solid brass reproduction of
an antique sailing ship's cabin compass.
The compass is mounted on a 360-degree double gimbal ring system on a heavy brass base.
The gimbal ring design allows the compass to remain level regardless of the angle of the base.
The bottom of the base is covered with felt to protect your fine furniture.
The brass compass rose is marked "Stanley London."
The Regular Sized Gimbaled Desk Stand Compass measures 2 5/8 inches (6.7 cm) in diameter,
and the overall compass is 3 5/8 inches (9.2 cm) in diameter,
6 1/8 inches (15.6 cm) tall, the base is 3 inches (7.6 cm) in diameter,
and the compass weighs slightly over one pound (465 grams).
This compass is beautifully detailed and polished to a high luster.
Your personalized inscription can be engraved in arc-shaped
lettering around the base of the compass.
One to two lines can be engraved on an arc above the stand and a maximum of two lines can be
engraved in a U-shaped arc below the stand.
A maximum of six words can be engraved on each line.

The Small Directional Desk Compass is similar to the larger model.
It is a solid brass reproduction of an antique air-damped compass with a copper dial.
The compass has a convenient needle lift thumbscrew to secure the compass needle while in transport.
The brass compass is 2 5/8 inches (6.7 cm) in diameter and is mounted on a heavy beautifully-finished
solid hardwood base that is 4 9/16 inches (11.6 cm) in diameter and 7/8 inch (2.24 cm) thick.
The base has three solid brass feet, and the compass and base measures 2 inches (5.1 cm) tall and weighs 9.7 ounces (275 grams).
This compass makes a perfect desk accessory for the distinguished office.
The brass bezel cannot be engraved, although there is room for a custom engraved brass plaque on the bottom of the compass.
The Large Directional Desk Compass is a solid brass lightly distressed reproduction of an antique air-damped compass.
The compass needle has long, balanced air paddles mounted perpendicular to
the needle to allow stable readings.
There is a needle lift thumbscrew to secure the compass needle while in transport.
The brass compass is 4 3/4 inches (12.1 cm) in diameter and is mounted on a heavy beautifully-finished
solid hardwood base that is 5 1/2 inches (14.0 cm) in diameter and 9/16 inch (1.4 cm) thick.
The base has three feet, and the compass and base is 2 inches (5.1 cm) tall and weighs over 1 pound (454 grams).
This compass makes a perfect desk accessory for the distinguished office.
We cannot engrave the brass compass bezel, although there is room for a custom engraved brass plaque on the bottom of the compass.
The plaque can be engraved with a maximum of 50 words in 9 lines.

This is a beautiful solid brass antique reproduction of a sundial with an internal magnetic compass.
The top of the sundial is hinged and a curved scale is used to set your local latitude angle.
The magnetic compass allows the sundial to be oriented North.
The compass features a needle lift mechanism to protect the compass's jeweled bearing when being transported.
There are three adjustable legs that are used to precisely level the sundial.
The sun's shadow cast by the sundial's vane marks the local time.
The top of the sundial can lay down flat, and both the latitude scale and the sundial vane
are hinged to lay flat for compact storage.
